Snakebite is dark bronze with a dirty golden shimmer-sheen. I used this to darken the look and add some definition to the outer eye area.
Suspect is a soft champagne-bronze with a frosted, metallic sheen. I use this shade a lot, it’s such a versatile shade and lays down good foundations.
Busted is a burgundy-tinted, deep brown with warm, golden undertones. I wasn’t sure this one would be with the look but it helped to deepen the eye.
YDK is a warm, coppery red-toned medium brown with a frosted finish. This one is stunning! I used it in the centre of the lid. It catches the light beautifully and helps the eyes sparkle.
- Prime the eyes first! My weapon on choice is usually the Urban Decay Primer Potion, however I’ve recently switched it up with Benefit Stay Don't Stray and I’ve got to say I think I prefer it??? Not only does it prime the eye and provide a smooth base, it also provides good coverage, concealing shadows and discolouration.
- Apply Suspect as a base colour using a medium size brush (I used MAC 217) all over the lid – up to and just past the crease (if they’re big enough) and be generous!
- Apply Snakebite to the outer half of the lid and up along the crease.
- With a smaller brush work in Busted to the outer part of the eye lid, close to the lower lash line. Pat the colour in layers to create depth.
- Blend with a fluffy brush to work the colours together.
- Add a bit more suspect to pull the colours together.
- Apply YDK to the centre of the lid. I find this one works best damp – spray brush with MAC Fix + or use fingers to dab directly on the lid and minimise the fall out.
- Using a fluffy brush blend, blend, blend to ensure the colours bleed seamlessly together.
- With a smudger brush trace Busted along the lower lash line.
- Apply eyeliner, for this look I used Bobbi Brown Gel Liner because it lasts amazingly.
- Lashings of mascara to finish. On this occasion I used Chanel Volume de Chanel.
This looks so lovely on your eyes!!! I use this palette all the time but I always like to see how other girls use it!! I might try your colours and application and see what it looks like on me!!! Stunning lashes too lady! x

I love all of the Naked palettes! I definitely gravitate more towards the original Naked palette, but I've been overlooking them lately for the MAC Pedro Lourenco quad. I need to start using them again! This looks fabulous! I love the Naked 3 but I think I need to pick up MAC Fix Plus to use with it because the shades either don't have much pigment for me or just get muddy when I blend everything together. Love the shades though so I don't want to give up on that palette.
ReplyDeleteYou're so beautiful. Love the finish look.
