Check out my nails, phresh out of rehab! They’ve been enjoying some much needed R&R, lashings of Renunail (review here) and nail polish rest. Finally they’re stronger, longer and better than before and ready rock Autumn’s hues. Pastels have gone and it’s time to dust off your darks.
First in my autumnal nail wardrobe is Nails Inc. St Martin's Lane, a new glossy grape shade. It’s a gorgeous plumy/purple kinda shade with a pink undertone. Less red wine and more mulberry. In terms of a comparison, it's a darker version of Holland Park Road. It almost reminds me of MAC Rebel lipstick, so if you fancy matching up, it would be a great combo. The formula is fairly opaque, two coats was enough and it dries to a beautiful and ultra glossy finish. In fact, it’s almost gel like. In terms of wear time, I've only been testing it for two days (eager to share) but so far, so good.
