Fresh from the success of Lip Butters and Kissable Balm Stains, Revlon have launched the Colorstay Ultimate Suede Lipstick. A whopping collection of 20 lipsticks that offer up to 16 hours comfortable matte wear.
I’m not normally one for matte lipsticks, but in my opinion it's of more of a semi-matte product. It’s smooth and silky to apply and glides on effortlessly. It Girl is lovely pinky coral shade with a slight frosty finish. It’s semi opaque and builds nicely. Formulated with shea butter it feels very soft and velvety, unfortunately that feeling doesn’t last. After about ten minutes it does sort of “set” into the lips and become a little powdery, but my god does it last. I swatched some on my arm for the photos on Saturday... three days later it’s still there!
If you love a long wearing lippy, this could be the one for you! I adore the shade, but prefer the texture and moisturisation of Lip Butters and balms. Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede Lipstick available in the US now, coming to the UK soon.
